Flight Tracking

Banff Airporter tracks your flight and changes your booking if you’ve been delayed. Your seat will be waiting for you when you arrive.

We take a proactive stance toward flight arrival times and track your flight to help anticipate any needed changes in your booking. If you are experiencing delays, big or small, we can plan while you are still in the air and move you to the appropriate shuttle. This allows you to take the earliest possible departure from Calgary Airport.

During the booking process you will be asked to provide your flight information. This will enable us to check your flight status.

Flexible Policies

Travel is never predictable. With available cancellation insurance and flexible change policies you’ll never be held hostage by strict time-based cancellation policies.

Cancellation Insurance gives you the flexibility to cancel your ticket prior to your scheduled departure time and receive a full refund on the cost of your booking. If you, or someone you know will use Banff Airporter in the next year don’t buy cancellation insurance as you can change your booking details any time prior to your scheduled departure time. This includes the name of the person travelling.

Door to Door

Banff Airporter is Banff’s only door-to-door airport shuttle.

Banff Airporter offers door-to-door pick ups and drop offs in the Town of Banff. This means that you’ll be dropped off right at the front door of your hotel, B&B or home address. Banff Airporter also offers a 4-stop guarantee, which means you’ll never stop at more than 4 places after you’ve been picked up.

Banff Airporter pioneered Scheduled Airport Transportation

Back in the day getting from Calgary Airport to Banff via shuttle was nearly impossible. Two companies combined efforts to offer 3 or 4 departures each day. Imagine what folks thought when Banff Airporter started offering 10 scheduled departures everyday. Fourteen years have passed and the kilometers keep on ticking.

2 Hours Total Travel Time

Start the clock…we’ll be at the Calgary Airport in 2 hours.

Your trip between Calgary Airport and Banff is made up of three parts:

Pick up – the time spent loading all passengers. When travelling from Banff to Calgary Airport this process includes driving door-to-door to pick everyone up and should take a maximum of 20 minutes.
Travel time – the time spent on the hi-way between Calgary and Banff. This portion of the trip typically take 1 hour, 40 minutes. Road conditions may cause a delay, but the vast majority of transfers are right on time.
Drop off – the time spent unloading all passengers. When travelling from Banff to Calgary Airport this process is simply unloading all passenger and baggage.

2 hours is the time taken to complete all three of these elements. You can rely on our scheduled times!

Professional Drivers

Drivers live and breath Banff National Park. All are hired from Banff and Canmore and are passionate about the area. They are happy to offer tips as you safely enter the Canadian Rockies. Drivers have proper rest between shifts and are never on the road for more than three hours at a time. Rest time between shifts is typically 45 minutes. All drivers come standard with a uniform that makes them look pretty darn sexy. Some are even available, but it’s not appropriate to ask!

The Banff Airporter prides itself on acting locally but thinking globally. We live and operate within Banff National Park and to turn a blind eye to the sensitive environment here, doesn’t serve anyone. As the originator of comprehensive, door to door shuttle services to and from the Bow Valley, the Banff Airporter communally carries thousands of individuals that would have otherwise taken taxis or rented cars.

Additionally, Banff Airporter has it’s own bio diesel tank and burns 20% BioDiesel in the Summer and 5% BioDiesel in the Winter. All our BioDiesel is made from waste product, mostly animal rendering (gross eh?). As well, all marketing materials are printed on 100% post consumer paper and we use recycled paper for copying and letter writing. And lastly, when the fleet and offices get cleaned, it is only done using bio-degradeable soaps and products.

We all want to preserve this beautiful area for future generations and it starts right here, right now. Take the shuttle, park your car!
