Banff Airporter Procedures

Reservations may be made via phone, fax or online. All methods require VISA or MasterCard payments to secure bookings. Receipt of a confirmation number is a confirmed booking.

Cancellation policy with all bookings is 24 hours prior to scheduled departure, after this time all charges are non-refundable.

All services are payable in full upon booking. Round-trip reservations are single ticket items and are unable be partially refunded after the first leg of travel has been used.

Clients departing on scheduled services from Calgary Intl Airport are required to check in at the Banff Airporter Tour Desk located on the Main Arrivals Level - AREA C @ International Arrivals

Departures from the airport are prompt at the scheduled times listed due to airport policy. Drivers are unable to wait for late arrivals, luggage, etc.

The Banff Airporter does door-to-door pickups. Please be ready 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time and expect us no later than 15 minutes past your scheduled pickup time. Airport arrival times take this procedure into account, but may vary due to traffic or weather.

Clients are requested to wait for scheduled services in a place where it will be easy to be seen by the driver. Drivers are unable to ring doorbells, apartment #'s, hotel rooms, etc. due to schedule requirements.

Late arrivals are requested to check in at the Banff Airporter Tour Desk or to call the Banff Airporter Main bookings line. Bookings are valid for the day of travel and late arrivals will be accommodated on the next available shuttle. (Accommodations will be made for acts of god)

Travellers without reservations will be accommodated on a stand-by basis, subject to seat availability.

Pets are not permitted with the exception of seeing eye dogs

Luggage Allowance: Passengers are allowed two pieces of luggage plus a carry-on, anything above and beyond is $17/bag. All skis, snowboards and bikes must be properly packaged for transport (bikes must be in boxes). Any oversized luggage (or special luggage such as musical instruments) will be allowed at the discretion of the Banff Airporter.

Privacy

On January 1, 2001, the Canadian Federal Government enacted a new personal privacy law. The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPED) was created to ensure all Canadians' basic right to privacy is upheld. The Act covers personal information about an identifiable individual regardless of how the information exists.

The Banff Airporter knows the importance of protecting the privacy of you our clients. We guarantee your security and private information. Information submitted to the Banff Airporter via its web site will not be sold or divulged to any outside source.

We understand the importance of privacy to the individual. We know that earning the trust of our clients is critical to the success of our company. With the growth of electronic media it is necessary to take further steps in protecting the privacy of the individual. The Banff Airporter fully supports the new Canadian legislation, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, in its role to protect the privacy of the individual. Our role in protecting an individual's privacy does not stop with this Act.

You can purchase transportation tickets by contacting our reservationists directly or by visiting our web site. In order to purchase a ticket through the Banff Airporter, there is basic information we require. This information is necessary in order to identify you, contact you, or process your purchase. These may include:

  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Credit card number, security number and expiration date

Our Web Site

The Banff Airporter's web site gives you the benefit of self service from anywhere the internet is available. Information you exchange with us online is treated as securely as through any other business channel. We use industry standard encryption (128 bit secure socket layer) that protects information as it is sent between your browser and our bank systems. And our data centres are protected by several layers of firewalls to ensure that only you can access your information. As well, we never see or hold your credit card number, security number or expiration date. This information is handled via the industry leader ­ Veri Sign.

Account Applications

If you would like to apply for an account with the Banff Airporter to use the website or to enroll in our discounted services using our online form, you are required to provide the usual information described above. In addition, to allow you to retrieve your login information more easily we require your email address and a challenge question and answer that you make up.
